Tarak Underiner was a 20-year-old student at Ohio State University. Tarak Underiner graduated from Colerain High School and originally hails from Cincinnati, Ohio.

Tarak Underiner was an Eagle Scout and role model in the community. In college, he was a member of Buckeyes for Concealed Carry on Campus and was a staunch advocate for gun rights. Tarak is remembered by his peers as an intelligent young man with a huge heart.

On the morning of January 5th around 12:30 am, police found Tarak's body on the 20 block of East Northwood Avenue with multiple gunshot wounds.

Police are investigating the incident; they believe the attack was not random.

Tarak's death was soon after ruled drug related.

Based on evidence recovered in the post-crime search, he is strongly suspected to have dealt in arms and illegal drugs, perhaps engaging in violent acts.

It appears as if the murder was an illicit deal gone astray.
