Tamara Lunger, 29, grew up skiing and climbing in the Dolomites surrounding her home, the town of Bolzano, in South Tyrol.

Her father, Hansjorg Lunger, was a local ski mountaineering legend and her first teacher.

In 2016, Tamara attempted a Winter climb of Nanga Parbat.
