Tabitha Lipkin is an American Television Anchor and Reporter based in San Diego, California.
Early Life and Education
Tabitha is originally from Texas and attended the University of Texas at Austin. An active student, Tabitha was involved with Camp Texas and Texas Student TV. [1] Also she had her first scuba diving lesson in college, which would become a passion of hers. Tabitha graduated in 2012 with a degree in Journalism. [1]
Career

In 2012, Tabitha interned for major programs such as the Colbert Report and Conan, working backstage an researching guests. In July of 2013, she became a writer and the social media director for Cruising Outpost, a sailing and travel lifestyle magazine. A little over a year later, she was hired as a freelance reporter for Fox Sports & in 2016 she hosted her own segment called, ‘Keeping Tabs with Tabitha Lipkin’. [1] From September 2015 – January 2016 she helped produce and hosted 30-minute travel programs for AWE TV. In May 2015, she became an anchor on One America News Network and in April 2017, she became a weather anchor and reporter for Fox 5 San Diego. [1]
Before her career in television, Tabitha had a variety of jobs including Real Estate Agent, Bartender, Zipline Tour Guide, Production Coordinator, and selling meat door to door out of a trunk in college. Tabitha won the Miss Scuba International competition in 2014 and spoke around the world about marine conservation on the organization's behalf. She has had several sponsors resulting from her scuba diving career including Aqua Lung Worldwide and Body Glove. In addition, Tabitha was the first female flight instructor for Jetpack America and the youngest American woman to sail around the world.
