Sydney Loofe was a resident of Lincoln, Nebraska.

Loofe is employed at Menards as a cashier. She graduated from Neligh-Oakdale High School in 2011.

On Wednesday, November 15, 2017, Loofe disappeared when she was supposed to go out on a date with someone she met online.

On Snapchat, she posted to her story a selfie, with the caption, "Ready for my date".

She was reported missing by her family on November 16, 2017.

She did not report to work and friends notified the family.

Her car has been located at her apartment in Lincoln.

Her cell phone has been shut off, but was last pinged in Wilber.

On December 4, 2017, her family announced that her body was discovered.

The official cause of death was not known, and an Autopsy is being conducted to determine whether or not Foul play was involved. Presently they suspect that there was foul play involved.
