Early Life
She was born on March 7, 1994 as Syndee Marie Goodman in Yorba Linda, California, USA. She attended Chapman University in 2013 and a obtained BS from human biology in University of Southern California in 2016. Her parents are Randy Goodman and Deena Goodman she also has an elder brother.[5]
Although she studied human biology she decided to seek a career in online gaming after her father ignited the career in her.
Career
She started her career in the online gaming scene and rose to prominence in the digital entertainment space with her regular vlogs on everything that is trending.
During her time in college she was appointed as the research assistant in college and was given responsibility to create a training database and used Ipads to collect data from high school athletic training programs.
She loved watching her dad play games when she was younger and in an interview she said
My dad is a huge nerd and he loves video games but he was really into Halo: Combat Evolved and as a kid he would let me watch him play when i wasn't afraid of watching.
Between October 2008 to May 2013 she was a Marketing Manager at ACT Machinery.
She served as an host and runner at Ruby's Diner where its a restaurant company and worked there till October 2012. She also served as playroom and escorting volunteers at CHOC Children's-Children's Hospital of Orange country in 2013. While in September 2013 she was appointed as patient hospitality volunteer in Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC.
In June 2005 she worked on Contract Basis as production assistant at GameSpot and joined USC Spirit group in December 2013.
She served as the chairperson of Friday Night Funtime Dances between February 2013 to August 2015
She currently is a television host and producer at IGN entertainment.
Personal Life
She is currently married to Alex Rubens.
What brought these two together was their passion for gaming.
Rubens is an SVP at KSE Esports, is a writer who covered stories of human interest in the gaming world, as well as published books on the subject.
He has also worked at IGN.
The duo met at a Call of Duty event, leading to an amusing first date of “ping pong, arcade games, and savory bites.” They maintained a long-distance relationship until he finally decided to settle with her in Los Angeles, California.
The two were engaged on June 3, 2018 and finally got married on August 3, 2018.
The event was a joy filled one as only a few friends and members of the family were invited.
