Syamantha Kiran (born May 21,1988) is an Indian Actress, who works predominantly in Tamil TV series and Films. She is best known for Ayudha Ezhuthu (2019) and Sumangali (TV series) (2017) and Nila (2019).^[1]

Syamantha was born and brought up in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. She completed her schooling from Chennai. She studied at Ethiraj College for Women and graduated from Anna University, Where she obtained a Bachelor's degree.^[2]

Syamantha started her acting career in 2014.

She acted in Tamil Soap opera “Pasamalar (TV series)”. It was directed by Sai Marudhu and produced by Home Movie Makers and it is aired on Sun TV (India). She has appeared in many popular soap operas like She has appeared in some well known television serials like Saravanan Meenatchi (2011-18) and Kalyanam Mudhal Kadhal Varai (2014-17). Both were televised on Star Vijay. Her other notable series are Vamsam (2013-17) and Nila (2019).^[14] In 2019, She also played supporting role of 'Kodha' in the drama series Ayutha Ezhuthu on Star Vijay.^[5]

Apart from the TV series, she also tried her luck in Kollywood . She appeared in Eththan in 2011 which was directed by L Suresh.
