Biography
Suzanne Jung spent 14 years in television as a journalist, helming prime time newscasts as anchor and editor.[2] She has anchored many major breaking news stories and interviewed personalities as diverse as world leaders, including Tony Blair, John Howard, UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, to international artists like David Foster, Ian Mckellen, Alicia Keys, Jackie Chan, and football legend Pelé. Suzanne has received numerous News Excellence awards for her reports over the years.[3]
Qualification
Career
Beginning in 2002, Suzanne Jung spent 14 years as a news anchor on the Singapore-based television network Channel NewsAsia.[4] Suzanne is an experienced speaker and moderator, having chaired panels at the World Knowledge Forum and Global Media Forum, and other international symposiums. She has extensive experience as Master of Ceremony of various major events for banks, embassies, and multinationals such as Standard Chartered, Samsung, LG, TNT, Changi SATS among many others, and has hosted events from award ceremonies to business launches. Suzanne also does media training for various organizations such as Khattar Wong & Partners, LG Electronics, and Specialist Dental Group to name a few. She teaches and trains young professionals. She trained a group of selected student journalists to represent Singapore as McDonald’s Champion Kids at Beijing 2008 Olympic Games and sits on a panel of judges for Panasonic’s KWN News Competition, a global hands-on news education program for primary and secondary school children.[8]
Awards
- Suzanne's award includes her coverage at the IMF/World Bank meeting in 2006 and the 13th ASEAN Summit in 2007.[9]
Personal Life
Suzanne is riginally from South Korea, Suzanne Jung arrived in Singapore with her family in 1983.[10] She is now married with two children.[11]
