Jesse Kardon, better known as Subtronics,****is an electronic music producer and DJ who originally hails from Philadelphia. He creates music of the dubstep/riddim/heavy bass variety. Subtronics has collaborated with Ganja White Night, Boogie T, Dirt Monkey, Bailo, and Midnight Tyrannosaurus.

Subtronics is originally from Wynnewood, Pennsylvania and grew up in a Jewish household. He attended theCrefeld School where he taught a skateboarding class and learned the art of glass blowing.

Kardon first started messing around with GarageBand in middle school and remembers wanting to stay longer after his computer class was finished. In high school, he would make what he described as "horrible dubstep songs" on Ableton. After a couple years of practice and watching hundreds of hours of YouTube tutorials, he became confident in himself to start releasing music. Subtronics influences include Rusko, SKisM, Bare Noize, Tomba, Caspa, Skream, Downlink and Excision.

In 2018, he released his album Depth Perception off Ganja White Night's label SubCarbon Records and Pashmina Death Sauce off Black Tiger Sex Machine's Kannibalen Records.

The name Subtronics is a combination of the words "subwoofer" and "electronics."^[1]
