The Stobart Foundation is a non-profit that offers support to the community of aspiring artists who share a passion for the artistic vision inspired and developed through working directly from nature.^[1]

The Foundation offer financial support by way of grants to qualified artists in order to aid and encourage fledgeling artists during the transition from a formal program and becoming an artist with a body of work able to be self-supporting in the professional art world.^[1]

The foundation was established in 1988.
