Steven and his wife Linda Kologi were known by family and friends as a devoted parents who always put her kids first. Steven Kologi and their four children all lived in Long Branch, New Jersey. He is the father of Scott Kologi, Brittany Kologi, and Steven Kologi Jr. According to a 2009 bankruptcy filing, the family was struggling financially with Steven Kologi working as a mailman while Linda Kologi collected unemployment benefits. Death
On December 31, 2017, Scott Kologi was taken into custody after he shot and killed Steven Kologi, his wife Linda Kologi, his daughter Brittany Kologi, and a family friend Mary Ann Schulz at their home in Long Branch with a semi-automatic rifle. [1]
He opened fire inside the family home at 635 Wall Street around 11:45 p.m. local time, killing his father, mother, Brittany, and 70-year-old family friend Mary Schultz.
