Steve Jang is a venture investor and entrepreneur based out of San Francisco.^[1]

Steve started his career in 1997 as a Web Designer at Salon. From 1998 to 2000, he was a Research Analyst, Digital Media and Internet Sector at WR Hambrecht + Co. Later, he worked as a Director of Strategic Development at XUMA and EMI Music. From 2005 to 2009 Steve was a CMO and Head of Business Development at Imeem, Inc. In 2010, he founded Schematic Labs, a mobile technology company developing entertainment apps for Android and iOS devices. In 2014 Steve founded Kindred Ventures.

In 1997 Steve received a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature from University of California, Berkeley. In 2005 he obtained a Master of Business Administration from USC Marshall School of Business.
