Steve Bartman

Steve Bartman works for a financial services consulting firm.

Bartman is a Chicago Cubs fan whose catching of a foul ball was widely perceived as setting off a chain of events leading to the Cubs losing a chance to advance to The World Series. His catch prevented Outfielder Moisés Alou from catching the ball. His infamous catch is known as the Steve Bartman incident. Security had to escort him out of Wrigley Field after the incident since people were throwing debris at him and one fan poured beer on him.

Bartman is remembered for wearing headphones, a green turtleneck, and a Cubs cap during the incident.
