Personal Life
Beck moved from Atlanta, Georgia to Valdosta in order to participate in a live-in chemical dependency rehabilitation clinic.
He successfully went through the program for a few years.
Police Shooting
On July 8, 2016 Beck called 911 in order to lure police officers to his apartment in Valdosta.
When the police arrived he opened fire and wounded one of the officers multiple times.
He was then shot multiple times and detained.
Both the officer and Beck are expected to survive after receiving medical treatment.
