Spafford is an American jam band from Prescott, Arizona. They describe their music as electro-funk therapy. ^[3]

Spafford formed in 2009 in Prescott, Arizona and started playing shows on Whisky Row which is the town's local bar scene. The band is made up of Jordan Fairless, 24, on bass, Brian Moss, 28, playing lead guitar, Red Johnson, 32, on the keyboard, and Nick Tkachyk, 24, on drums. Spafford band got its name from one of the bandmate's middle names. They tour the country playing hundreds of shows a year and release their live performances on their SoundCloud and Bandcamp ^[2]

Spafford draws from a wide variety of genres to create their sound.

They include The Grateful Dead, Phish, Disco Biscuits, Pat Metheny and Wes Montgomery, Al Di Meola, Dispatch and Incubus.
