Sophie Katirai (born 20/10/1985) is an artist, businesswoman and beauty influencer based in Dubai. Known for her award-winning jewelry website sophiescloset.com as well as her beauty account on Instagram where she created makeup looks and some of Instagrams most popular AR effects and beauty filters.

Sophie Katirai started her career as a graphic designer and then got her Masters in business and marketing in Canada. She started her online store Sophie's Closet the first online accessories store in the arab region in Dubai in 2009. Sophie shot to fame after she was discovered by Kylie Jenner to create the first Instagram filter for Kylie Cosmetics. Sophie's filters on Instagram are one of the most popular used by most top celebrities like Bella Hadid, Hailey Bieber, Billie Eilish^[7], Dua Lipa, Cardi B, Kim Kardashian^[5] etc. On her website she shares that her filters get billions of views every week.^[5]

She was born in Canada but currently resides in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Sophie has two daughters and is married.
