Simone Boyce

Simone Boyce is an American journalist based in New York, New York. She is a reporter and host for NBC News and MSNBC. [1]

Education

Boyce graduated from Miami Palmetto Senior High School. She went on to attend University of Florida, graduating with a Bachelor's degree in broadcast journalism.

Career

Prior to joining NBC News in May 2018, she was a general assignment reporter at KTLA 5. In In 2017, she reported from the front-lines of the largest wildfire in California history and the deadly Montecito mudslides.

At Fox 5 news in New York, Boyce executive produced her own lifestyle series and earned an Emmy nomination for her reporting on the hidden roots of the underground railroad in Brooklyn and lower Manhattan.

Working for Mic, Boyce recently covered women’s issues as a digital correspondent and went on to work as a regular host and contributor for The Young Turks.

Personal Life

She is of French, German, Nigerian, Scotch-Irish, and Sierra Leonean descent.
