Signa Mae (born September 18, 2003) whose full name is Signa Mae O'Keefe, is an American social media personality and TikTok Star. She has earned over 5.7 million followers on her TikTok account with her lip-sync videos and motivational messages to teenagers.[2]
Early Life
Signa Mae was conceived on September 18, 2003, in Maple Grove, Minnesota, United States, to Matt O’Keefe and Shannon Ottmar. She had an older brother named Beau O’Keefe, who died some years back. She also has a younger brother named Aaden O’Keefe, and a younger sister named Sophia O’Keefe.[5]
When Signa Mae was 3 years old, her parents divorced.
Her father later wedded a woman named Carrie. Signa Mae is close to her mother, whom she considers her best friend, her greatest supporter, and her truest inspiration. She resides in Minnesota with her mother and siblings.[4]
Career
Signa Mae started her career by drawing attention with her TikTok videos.
She started posting on TikTok (which was then musical.ly) when she was just 12 years old. Soon, she gained a moderate fan base. One of the first videos she posted on the application was titled ha my smiles ugly but #SmileChallenge. In the ensuing years, the lip-sync videos of the diva saw her rising to fame as a TikTok star.[6]
Signa Mae built a huge fan base on the application by continuing to compose videos in her unique style and spreading positive messages to teens of her age on how to deal with difficult situations such as bullying or the loss of dear ones.
She faced a personal loss when her brother, Beau passed away. How she managed the grief and the video she posted on her TikTok account (titled set to Skylar Grey‘s ‘Coming Home’) in memory of her late brother inspired many of her fans and viewers who had confronted similar circumstances in their lives.[3][4]

Signa Mae's biggest inspiration is the English actor and model Emma Waston.
Signa Mae is also a volleyball player and was a member of the Minnesota select volleyball club. Her jersey number was 24. She was romantically associated with Braydon Wald, whom she started dating in 2017. Their relationship ended in early 2018.[7]
