Siemny Kim is an American journalist who presently works as an Anchor/Reporter at KIRO-TV in Seattle, Washington since January 2015.[1][11]

Personal Life

Siemny was born in China in a refugee camp in Thailand but experienced her childhood in the United States. [10]

She is a lover of food and adventure.

Siemny is married.

However, she likes to keep her personal life private.

She and her husband have beautiful children. [7]

Siemny Kim went to the University of California, Berkeley in the year 1998- 2002 where she studied and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, Political science, and Mass Communication.

Her activities and societies are Chi Omega and KALX Radio.

Siemny Kim began her career at KABC-TV in October 2002 to October 2003 where she worked as a Production Assistant.

She worked at KIDK in Idaho Falls, Idaho in October 2003 to October 2005 where she was hired as a “one-man band,” which is TV talk for reporter, photographer, editor, and producer all in one.

She worked as a Morning Anchor at KBAK/KBFX news station in October 2005 to October 2009 where she anchored a four-hour morning show and produced and anchored the noon show.

Siemny worked as a reporter at WDSU where she was part of the team that earned an Edward R. Murrow Award for breaking news coverage of a missing university professor in October 2010 to October 2012.

In November 2012 to December 2014, she also worked as a Weekend Anchor/Reporter at News10 in Sacramento, California Area. While there, she launched a technology segment called “Inventures,” which profiled innovative startup companies in the area.

Currently, Siemny works as an Anchor/Reporter at KIRO-TV in Seattle, Washington since January 2015. [8]

A West Seattle caterer, whose business has plummeted due to COVID-19, is pivoting to cater to moms this Mother’s Day.

“Just to allow people to hopefully forget about any bad stuff that’s happening.

And to still celebrate Mother’s Day with delicious food,” said Jack Rogers.

Jack Rogers is known as The Tall Chef.

He's created a Mother's Day crepe kit you can order for pick up or delivery.

Coronavirus: Trump orders meat processing plants to remain open

SEATTLE- President Donald Trump signed an executive order Tuesday compelling meat processing plants to stay open during the pandemic.

According to Seattle's KIRO-TV, coronavirus closures at meat packing plants are leading to worries about the food supply chain being disrupted.

This all comes after the chairman of Tyson, the country's second-largest meat producer, said he expects meat shortages because of the plant closures.[5]
