Shweta Jha (born October 21) is an Indian award winning News anchor, Journalist and TV personality. She is known for being a news anchor at India Today's news channel, Aaj Tak.^[1]

Shweta was born on October 21 in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. She completed her schooling from DAV Public School, Jamshedpur. She studied English Language and Literature at Jamshedpur Women’s College, Jamshedpur and graduated with an English (Honors) in 2006. ^[2]

Shweta started her career as an associate producer and news anchor with the Sahara media group. She gained lots of experience in four years with them. She joined Rajat Sharma's India TV in 2007 as a senior producer and anchor. She worked there for 6 years before moving to India's most prestigious new group India Today in 2013. She worked with TV Today Network and now she is currently getting popular as News Anchor on Aaj Tak.^{[2] [8]}

She is married to Journalist Ajay Jha.
