Shunyuan Zhang is one of the assistant professors at Harvard Business School’s Marketing unit. She lectures Marketing to first year students in the MBA program.[1]
Education
Professor Zhang got a Ph.D. majoring in Marketing and Business Technology at the Tepper School of Business of Carnegie Mellon University. She also attended University of Science and Technology in China where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics.[2]
Research Interest
Professor Zhang has academic interest in the sharing economy as well the marketing challenges presented by the changing aspects of this new economy.
She makes use of machine learning approaches including intense learning in extracting useful facts from Unstructured data. By combining these facts with structured data, Professor Zhang carries out in-depth analysis and policy replications to examine significant issues evolving in the sharing economy field.
