Sheila May Burage was a woman from Bogue Chitto, Mississippi who worked in Optometry at a Walmart Vision Center. Sheila was remembered as a beautiful person who had a contagious laugh and always cared about others. ^{[2] [6] [5]}

Shelia Burage was married to Pharrell Burage. Shelia and her husband were both part of the congregation at the New Zion Union M. B. Church. Shelia was involved in Lincoln County Prayer and Faith Circle and believed in the power of prayer. ^[3]When one of her friends Tracey fell into a diabetic coma, Shelia prayed for her and helped her recover. Shelia was also passionate about shoes. ^{[6] [7]}

Shelia graduated from Allan Hancock College in Santa Maria, California. She went to high school at Bogue Chitto High School. ^[3]

On May 27, 2017 Shelia and her husband, Pharrell Burage were among the eight victims killed in a mass shooting committed by Willie Corey Godbolt against his wife's estranged family. Shelia was the sister of Willie's estranged wife. ^{[2] [4]}
