On December 24, 2017, was found dead in a car following a police involved shooting.

A Grundy County Sheriff’s deputy attempted a traffic stop on B Mine Road, when the driver allegedly pointed a firearm at the deputy. ^{[undefined] [undefined]}

The deputy then fired into the vehicle several times then the vehicle drove away, hitting the police cruiser.

Deputies caught the suspect and he was transported to the hospital.
