Shay Shariatzadeh (born in 1989) is a Canadian engineer and product manager. She is famous for being in a relationship with American professional wrestler, actor, and rapper John Cena.^[1][2]

She was born in 1989 in Canada into a family of professionals. Her mother works as a surgeon and she has an elder brother who is also an engineer.^[3][4]

She considers her elder brother as her mentor and teacher.

Her elder brother influenced her into pursuing engineering.

She explained in an interview that her brother came home one day with a project which was an autonomous car and from that day she decided to pursue engineering.^[5]

She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from 2008 to 2013 from the University of British Columbia.

She joined la Vie en Rose as a sales associate and third key in November 2007. She left the company in September 2009 after working for almost two years.

She began her career at Avigilon in May 2015. She worked for Alpha Technologies Ltd. as an Engineering Peer Advisor during her final year at UBC from September 2012 to April 2013.

She has been dating American professional wrestler, actor, and rapper John Cena since 2019. John is a professional wrestler who became famous after winning his first singles title “the WWE United States Championship” in 2004.
