Shashwita Sharma (age 30 yrs) is an Indian Actress and dancer who predominantly works in Hindi TV series and movies. She is best known for TV series Sanam Re (2016), Doli Armaano Ki (2011) and Room - The Mystery (2015) and Crime Patrol (TV series) ( 2018-20).^[1]

Shashwita was born and brought up in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh. She belongs to a rich tradition of music she was trained in Hindustani Classical Music by her mother Dr. Neelima Sharma. She completed schooling from private school in Gwalior. She holds a Bachelor's degree which she obtained from Delhi University.^[2] she became a disciple of Kathak Maestro Pt. Birju Maharaj and continued her training in Dance while studying in Delhi

She made her acting debut in the Crime series, 'Crime Patrol satark'.

She appeared as a cop in many episodes in 2013.

She worked in Maryada: Lekin Kab Tak? in 2011. She acted in Bani – Ishq Da Kalma. She also acted in Soap opera Doli Armaano Ki in the same year. She rose to fame playing character of 'Sandhiya Sinha'. The series was televised Zee TV. She worked in many serials like Chandramukhi, Black, Alladin. She made her Bollywood debut in the movie Room - The Mystery in 2015. In 2016, she appeared in another Bollywood movie Sanam Re. Since then she has been regular on episodic series Crime Patrol as a cop.She has also appeared in two Bollywood movies Dussehra (film) and Hate Story 2. ^[3]
