Sharon Goldberg is a blockchain technology entrepreneur and academic based out of Boston, Massachusetts. She is the Co-Founder and CEO of Arwen. Goldberg is also a tenured Associate Professor at Boston University.  
Sharon Goldberg holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Network Security from Princeton University. She also graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Engineering Science.  
Sharon Goldberg is the Co-Founder and CEO of Arwen, a non-custodial trading protocol which provides users a safer way to trade on centralized cryptocurrency exchanges.  
Goldberg is currently on sabbatical from her role as a tenured Associate Professor in the Computer Science Department at Boston University, and a member of the BU Security Group. As a network security researcher, her work uses tools from theory (cryptography, game theory, algorithms) and networking (measurement, modeling, and simulation) to understand the hurdles practitioners face when deploying new security technologies, and to develop solutions that surmount them. 
She has previously worked as a researcher at IBM's crypto group, Cisco Research, and Microsoft Research, New England, as an engineer at Bell Canada and Hydro One Networks, and have served on working groups of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF).
