Early Life & Education
Sharmistha was born and brought up in Chikmagalur, Karnataka, India. She completed her schooling from Saint Joseph's Girls High School, Chikmagalur. She is a graduate of Kuvempu University, Shimoga, where she obtained a Master of Science in Biochemistry.[2]
Career
Sharmistha made her debut in the TV series Janaki Raghava in 2017.
It was directed by Vinu Balanji and produced by Nikhil, and aired on Star Suvarna channel.
She rose to fame playing the negative character of 'Priyanka' in TV series Series 'Maneye Mantralaya' (2018).
It was aired on Colors Super Channel. Her popularity increased with another negative role of Neelambari/Bhavani in 2019. It is currently televised on Sun TV. [13] She has acted with many well known actors like Rajeev Ravichandran, Vineeth, Jeeva Ravi and Vasanth Gopinath from South Indian TV industry so far.[2][7]
