Shanika Shontel Minor (born November 29, 1991) is a 24 year old former newspaper delivery person and a murder suspect who was on the FBI's Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list. She was captured on July 1, 2016 in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
Before going on the run, Shanika lived in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She is originally from Mississippi.
Crimes
On June 28, 2016 Shanika Minor was added to the FBI's Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list after fatally shooting Tamecca Perry and her unborn child in front of her two other children in March at an apartment in Milwaukee. She is currently an armed and extremely dangerous fugitive. The FBI is offering a $100,000 reward for information leading to her arrest.
Shanika is wanted on charges of first-degree intentional homicide, first-degree intentional homicide of an unborn child and unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.
Early in the morning of March 6, 2016, Shanika Minor was angry with Tamecca Perry for playing loud music and felt that Tamecca was disrespecting her. Shanika went to confront Tamecca at her home near 30th and Auer in Milwaukee. After Shanika and Tamecca started arguing Shanika's mother stood between to stop the argument from escalating.
At around 3 a.m Shanika pulled out black gun with an extended clip and pointed it above her mother's shoulder and shot Tamecca in the chest in front of her two children.
Tamecca and her unborn child both died before emergency services could arrive.
The baby was due to be born a week from its death.
Shanika's mother said that Shanika drove away from the shooting in a vehicle.
Shanika Minor may have contact with people in Missouri, Mississippi, Texas, Tennessee, Ohio, and possibly Georgia.
Shanika's last known address was Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Additionally, Shanika does not have any history of travel outside the United States or contact with people from outside the United States.
Description
Shanika Minor is a 5"6 foot tall black female who weighs 165 pounds with a medium build. She has black hair and brown eyes. She also goes by the name Ida Jackson.
