On November 14, a rally was taking place inside a building protesting the election of Donald Trump. While Timothy Adams was making an impassioned speech to protestors, Shane Stanton is seen charging at Adams screaming out "You Idiot!" and knocked him off the steps.

Afterward, he was arrested by police.

Shane Stanton (Ohio State University) has been suspended from school and charged with misdemeanour assault. Shane Stanton (Ohio State University) was released on $2,500 bail. ^[1]

Adams does not plan to pursue charges against Stanton after learning about his special needs.
