Born and raised in Napa CA, she performed in local theatre and took acting classes since she was very young, when she was 19 she moved to LA at to study at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts.

There she continued her performing journey in the parades and shows at The Disneyland Resort in Anaheim CA.

A few years later, looking for a change of scenery, no tiaras and a lot less driving, Shalyah moved to New York City, where she currently resides.An

improv nerd thru and thru, she became a member of the UCB Harold Team The Regulars a fan favorite at the Upright Citizen's Brigade mainstage after she had studied there and at The Second City. Shalyah

is thrilled to continue performing with her group at UCB New York's Harold Night. ^[1]
