Seth Weil
Seth Weill (born March 9, 1987) is an Olympic rower competing for the United States of America. He will be competing in the men's four races in the 2016 Summer Olympics. [undefined]
Seth currently lives in Princeton, New Jersey. He was born in Palo Alto, California and grew up in Menlo Park, California. He attended Menlo-Atherton High School. Seth grew up windsurfing and sailing in the San Francisco Bay. [undefined]
To supplement his income from rowing, Seth lives lives with a host family in Princeton, New Jersey where he trains and works at the juice bar they own. [undefined]
Rowing Career
Seth first started rowing in 2005 during his freshman year at University of California, Davis and continued to train there for the next six years. [undefined]
In April of 2013 Seth joined the U.S.
Rowing team to trains at their Princeton, New Jersey training center. In 2015 he won the 2015 US Rowing Male Athlete of the Year award. [undefined] [undefined]
Four months after starting training, Seth won a bronze medal in the menโs four at the World Rowing Championships in Chungju, South Korea. His recently won in the four at the 2015 World Rowing Cup II and finishing seventh in the four at the 2015 World Rowing Championships. [undefined]
Seth finished fifth in the pair at the 2016 National Selection Regatta I. He won the pair at the 2014 National Selection Regatta 2.
He won gold in the four and pair at the 2013 US Rowing National Championships.
