Sean Thompson is an Occupy Sacramento protestor.

Thompson hails originally from Sacramento and is a graduate of city college and of Casa Roble High School.

He describes himself as an “artist and philosopher” on his Facebook page.

Sean has said what inspired him to help start Occupy Sacramento, “I think everyone has been upset and disheartened because of the times, and when I saw the protests taking place in New York, I thought immediately something like that needs to happen everywhere, something needs to happen here.”

In 2011, Sean was arrested at a protest, but his case was dismissed.

In September 2016, Thompson threw a pie in Mayor Kevin Johnson's face at a Sacramento Charter High School fundraiser.

The Mayor fought back, punching Thompson in the face.

Said one bystander: "They Mayor took care of business."
