Sdumo Mtshali (born 3 March 1983) is South African actor who hails from Durban, KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. He became famous after winning the first season of the SABC 1 reality competition Class Act in 2010.Part of the winning prize involved representation from Moonyeen Lee and Associates and he was sent to the New York Film Academy for eight weeks to learn more about acting.He best known for starring in highly acclaimed South African drama Isibaya.[1]

Career

After gaining recognition from winning Class Act in 2010,Mtshali was cast in Donavan Marshs' crime drama film iNumber iNumber alongside Tsotsi star Presley Chweneyagae.His role in iNumber iNumber became his first successful major role, with the film becoming a hit in festivals worldwide.He followed this up in October of that year by starring in critically acclaimed drama series InterSEXions.In 2011, he starred in popular etv soapie Rhythm City (TV series) in the role of Maidi Kotwe. He went onto to star in SABC 1 's Tempy Pushas.In 2013, he landed the role of Sibusiso Ndlovu on Mzansi Magics' drama Isibaya,most famously alongside Nomzamo Mbatha & fellow Class Act contestant and real-life close friend Pallance Dladla.
