The School of AI was founded by data scientist (and amateur rapper) Siraj Raval in Hayward, California.
His singular goal is to empower people all around the world to start tinkering with AI at no cost to them.
He's achieved this by designating School of AI "Deans" who act as ambassadors in online and offline comunities.
As of April 2019 Siraj has built a network of 800+ deans in over 80 countries.
The school currently offers three courses: Data Lit, Decentralized Applications, and a Move 37 Course.
Raval published a rap video called "Data Lit" on January 16, 2019 about one of his data science classes that racked up over 100,000 views on YouTube within three months.
The School of AI also offers a Fellowship to help entrepreneurs bring their ideas to life.
Although any idea is welcome, the school encourages submissions in the fields of Meta learning, One-Shot Learning, Quantum Machine Learning, and Deep Reinforcement Learning.
Winners of the Fellowship are given $1,000 in GCP credits to pursue their project, a personal adviser, and assistance submitting work to popular journals and conferences.
