Schauna Chauhanis the CEO of Parle Agro and the eldest daughter of its founder, Prakash Chauhan. ^[6] She manages the Finance, HR, Legal, Manufacturing and Operations of her company. Under her aegis, Parle Agro has expanded from being only a beverage major to one of the top leaders of food and beverage industry, manufacturing well known products, such as Frooti, Bailey, Hippo and LMN. ^[2]

In school and college, Schauna was a big fan of sports and actively took part in many sports with her friends and sisters.

She loved playing hockey, football, volleyball, baseball, tennis and badminton.

She was also the captain of the hockey team.

Her favorite spot was Amateurs Rider’s Club, where she used to ride at 6 o’clock every morning.

She was also a cheerleader during her school time.

Schauna completed her schooling from Kodaikanal International School. She went to Switzerland to finish her Bachelor's degree in International Management from Franklin College in Lugano. ^[5] She then studied for two more years from the Business School in Lausanne. Later, she went to the UCLA and spent two months before returning to join her father’s company in India. ^[1]

Schauna started working with the Parle Agro at 1999, working as a director at the age of 22.

She became its CEO in 2006 and since then, the group diversified into various areas and made its mark in the global market.

^[7] The reach of Parle Agro expanded into baked snacks, confectionery and pure fruit juices, exporting products to over 50 countries.

Initially, the company sold Thumps Up and started the (PET) plastic business, since then, has been continuously evolving and adding new brand extensions, including Saint Apple Juice and Hippo Round-Round.

Schauna is the daughter of Meera and Prakash Chauhan, founder of Parle Agro.

Her sisters are Alisha and Nadia.

She is married to the Bollywood actor Bikram Saluja and has a son named Jahaan.
