Dayvid Lundie-Sherman, better known as SAYMYNAME, is an electronic music producer based in Los Angeles, California.
Biography
Dayvid grew up in the greater Los Angeles area and is from a musical family.
His father enjoyed DJ'ing as a hobby and hip-hop was played widely in his household.
Throughout his youth, Dayvid was a part of LA's rave scene.
He went on to earn a degree in Public Relations and Advertising from Chapman University.
In 2013, SAYMYNAME was INSOMNIAC EVENT’S DISCOVERY PROJECT WINNER which he won right after he graduated college.
He would go on to have his tracks played by The Chainsmokers, DJ Snake, and Carnage in their sets. SAYMYNAME has played major festivals such as EDC Las Vegas and Beyond Wonderland.
SAYMYNAME combines hardstyle and trap to create a unique sound he dubs as hardtrap.
