Lexi is a 6-year-old girl who has been living in Santa Clarita with her foster parents Rusty and Summer Page since 2012.

In March 2016, the L.A.
County Department of Children and Family Services removed Lexi from the Page's home and moved her to Utah to live with biological relatives of her father, whom had been fighting to regain cystody of Lexi since she was initially placed in foster care.
Lexi's 1.5% Choctaw heritage puts her case under the jurisdiction of the Indian Child Welfare Act, a federal law passed in the 1970s.
