Early Life and Education
Sarah Ribner is originally from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Sarah attended the University of Pennsylvania where she majored in Urban Studies and minored in Real Estate Development. [1] She graduated in 2011. [1] Ribner went on to earn her MBA from the Columbia Business School in 2016. [1]
Career
Early in her career, Sarah was an Equity Sales Analust for Eastdil Secured and Researcher at JLL.
[1] In March of 2014 alongside her childhood best friend Jess Edelstein, they started PiperWai, a naturally powerful, aluminum-free deodorant to use activated charcoal and dietary magnesium to neutralize odor and fight sweat. [1] In December 2015, they appeared on Shark Tank which led to massive exposure and a growth in sales. The company is entirely self-funded and has offices in Philadelphia and New York. Their 2017 revenues are estimated to be at $5.9 million.
