Sarah Frier is a Bloomberg technology reporter focusing on social media companies including Facebook and Twitter.

Sarah graduated from Mountain View High School in California.

Frier is a graduate of the University of North Carolina, Class of 2011, where she received a bachelor’s degree in Journalism. In college, she was Editor-in-Chief of The Daily Tar Heel, the student daily newspaper.

During college, she interned at The Sacramento Bee and she has worked at The Daily Tar Heel and Palo Alto Daily News. Frier is a regular contributor to Bloomberg Television and Bloomberg Businessweek. She focuses primarily on Facebook and Snapchat, detailing their new developments, and notable people in tech such as Jeff Bezos, Sean Parker.

Previously, she covered IBM and news pertaining to the company including new technologies and chip demand.

Sarah Frier is writing a book about Instagram and its cultural impact. She is being published by Penguin Group.

She lives in San Francisco. Frier is of half-Mexican ancestry.
