Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro is a new mid-range device to be released by Samsung that features a removable battery. It will be available in the U.S. during the first half of 2020 for $499. [4] [1]

The XCover Pro is intended to be used by workers in industrial settings or out in the field. [1]

Overview

The 6.3-inch XCover Pro is built for all-day use, with a 4,050 mAh replaceable battery.

The device features 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage with a dual rear camera that includes a standard 25 megapixel lens and an 8 megapixel wide-angle lens.

Specs

The phone has a 6.3-inch 2220 x 1080 display (Samsung states a person can use when they have gloves on), a 2GHz octa-core Exynos 9611 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal storag (with support for microSD storage up to 512GB). For cameras, the phone has a 13-megapixel front-facing camera in a corner of the screen and two rear cameras: a 25-megapixel camera and an 8-megapixel camera. [4]

Microsoft

The phone will also be capable of withstanding drops of nearly 5 feet and offers a walkie-talkie capability in Microsoft Teams, a chat-based workspace in Office 365. [1]
