Samina Samoon also known as Samina Sindhu was a Pakistan singer. [1]
Personal Life
At the time of her death, Samoon was six months pregnant.
Death
On Tuesday April 10, 2018, Samoon was shot dead at Kanga village in Pakistan’s southern Sindh province after she refused to stand up while singing at a ceremony.
The gunman identified as Tarique Ahmed Jatoi, asked her to stand up while singing. When she refused to comply with his request citing her pregnancy, Jataoi shot her dead. She was rushed to a hospital where she was declared dead upon arrival. [1]
Jataoi, who was drunk, apparently took out a revolver and fired at her forehead point blank.
