Samantha Yap is the Founder & Director of YAP Global, an international PR and communications firm that works with meaningful Fintech, Blockchain and Cryptocurrency projects.^[1]

Samantha started her career in 2012 as a freelance journalist.

Later, she became a Journalist Intern at Special Broadcasting Service and Australian Broadcasting Corporation. In 2012-2013 she served as a Producer and Reporter at SYN Media and Intern at Al Jazeera Media Network. In 2014 she became a Broadcast Journalist & Producer at Channel NewsAsia and worked there up to 2016.^[1]

In 2017 Samantha worked as a Senior Account Executive at Media & Capital Partners.

From 2014 to 2018 she was the Chief communications officer at CAUSINDY, the Conference of Australian and Indonesian Youth. In 2018 Samantha became the Founder & Director of YAP Global. Her works have featured on Tech in Asia, Cryptonews.com, Channel NewsAsia, SBS News and ABC News.^[1]

In 2013 Samantha received a Bachelor of Journalism from Monash University.^[1]
