On Tuesday February 6, 2018, Woolverton was arrested in connection with an investigation into an improper relationship between an educator and a student. [1]

After obtaining an arrest warrant, Palestine PD Detectives arrested Woolverton at her home.

Woolverton was transported to the Anderson County jail and charged with a second-degree felony on a $75,000 bond. [1]

Police began to investigate Woolverton on January 31, 2018, after learning of the allegations from a social media post. She has been placed on administrative leave. [1]
