On June 14th, 2016 at the age of 37 was found dead in her home in Minneapolis. The cause of death is still under investigation. ^[0]

On August 4th, 2016, an investigation concluded that the cause of Samantha's death was due to Genetic Heart condition. She has died of natural causes. ^{[8] [7]}

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner's office said that Samantha Edwards died of Arrhythmogenic cardiomyopathy, a rare disease of the Heart muscle. The inherited condition causes abnormal heart rhythms. ^[8]
