Petty Officer Saman Gunan (aged 38, died 6 June 2018) was a retired Thai Navy diver who lost consciousness and died in a Tham Luang cave in the Chiang Rai region of Thailand as part of a rescue mission to save twelve trapped boys and their football coach.
