Sabriya McLean was an American teenager from the east coast who was stabbed to death and later set on fire by a man met through Facebook.

Sabriya McLean was from the town of New Castle in the state of Delaware where she grew up with her parents for most of her life.

After having a correspondence with an older man named Cole Swaringer-Herring on Facebook, she decided to make the plans to see him at his Philadelphia home. On November 27th, 2017, she left Delaware to visit Swaringer-Herring's home in Philadelphia.

After McLean's disappearance from her home, her parents reported her missing to the police.

On the night of her visit to Swaringer-Herring's home she suffered a devastating violent attack.

She was stabbed 50 times and her body was later set on fire.

McLean's body was found the next morning under leaves near the residence of Swaringer-Herring.

Swaringer-Herring has been charged with murder, arson, abuse of a corpse and related offenses in the death of Sabriya McLean.
