Sabrina Siddiqui (December 8, 1986; Urdu: صبرينا صديقى) is a political reporter for The Guardian and CNN. She is currently based in Washington, DC. [6] [9]
Early Life & Education
Siddiqui was born in the United States to Pakistani immigrants and lived in Italy for 10 years during her childhood. She graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University. [11] [12]
Career
She began her career in journalism as a stringer for Bloomberg's White House team. In 2012 Siddiqui joined the Huffington Post, where she covered the Romney campaign as well as Capitol Hill. She joined the staff of The Guardian in 2015, and has since covered the 2016 US Presidential election and the Trump administration. [6] [12] [18] [2]
Currently, she is a White House correspondent at The Guardian and Political analyst at CNN.[7]
Personal Life
Siddiqui got engaged to Ali Jafri in October 2018.
The duo met on the dating app Bumble. Ali is a Senior research analyst at the National Security Innovation, Inc.[34]
