Sable Harris was a 17-year-old from Red Bluff, California. ^[1]

Harris attended Gateway Baptist Church while growing up and was a student at Red Bluff High School. ^[15]She was in a relationship with her boyfriend, Joseph Charles. Sable is remembered for her contagious smile, positive attitude, and kindness towards others.

On the evening of February 23rd, Harris and a friend were waiting at the intersection of Interstate 80 and Madison Avenue to cross the street. After a long period of time, they decided to cross the street even though there was a Don't Walk signal. hER friend stopped when she saw a car coming but Harris didn't and ended up getting hit by a pickup truck that was driving 45 MPH. Harris was pronounced dead at the scene. ^[1]
