S3nsi Molly hails from the north side of Arlington, Texas. She started rapping around her 18th birthday, which was in 2017. she didn't take it serious, 'cause S3nsi Molly was like, "I can't do it." Molly wrote a bunch of songs, but she never went to the Studio. For a whole year she was dancing and also doing music part-time.
Career
Molly discovered that music was are life in November, 2017.
"Around November of 2017. Fuck, I forgot it's 2019.
I came to L.A. and spent a week out here.
I was with some friends and just seen how they was living.
I came back to Dallas and was like, I can do that shit, so I got back in the studio, I was just rapping every day.
I felt like I sucked.
I could not do that shit.
My homeboy was like, "You can rap, just keep doing it."
So I kept doing it, and it worked out."
In an interview she shared the inspiration behind her name
"Molly came before S3nsi.
My last name's White, so there was a Migos song called "Hannah Montana."
It goes, "I got molly, I got white," so I made myself Molly.
Then S3nsi, in high school I started smoking a lot.
I was just reading shit about weed.
It said something about Sensimilla, a type of cannabis with no seeds.
I just named myself S3nsi and ran with it.
[laughs] I started getting fans, so that's been my name."[7]
In the searing heat of August 2018, S3nsi Molly and Lil Brook released “223”, a raw, lean rap about how to make money, spend money and throw a party while doing it.
The video was a highlights reel from a suburban pool party in their home city of Arlington, Texas.
With its Springbreakers-at-the-Playboy-Mansion combo of supersoakers, neon bikinis and whipped cream, the film went viral.
In June 2019, the duo followed up with the album Dumb Shit featuring a Lil Yachty re-draft of “223” alongside 11 short, sharp bangers comprised of minimal beats, menacing synths and Molly and Brook exchanging bars about drop tops, racks, packs and paybacks. The record – incisive and full of feminine swagger – is like a manifesto for a partnership that balances the raw aggression of trap with sisterhood and southern sun.
