Umoh graduated from University of Maryland Baltimore County with a Bachelor's degree in media and Communication studies. She went on to attend Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, receiving a Master's degree in journalism.
Career
Prior to joining CNBC in June 2017, Umoh was a producer for Rolling Stone Magazine. She also worked as a digital producer at New York Daily News.
