On August 10, 2016, Courtier mowed down Larnell Malik Bruce killing him with his Jeep Wrangler.

The incident occurred after a fight outside a 7-Eleven in Gresham, Oregon while his girlfriend encouraged him, saying: ‘Get him baby, get him.’
